Steel centralizers and plastic centralizers are commonly used at present.

(1)steel centralizer.Both roller and ball centralizers are made of steel.Metal materials have the advantages of low price and durability,but steel centralizer and tubing friction coefficient is very large,easy to cause stuck pump.

(2)Plastic centralizer.Compared with steel centralizers,plastic centralizers have better mechanical strength and corrosion resistance,and plastic centralizers are less dense,lighter,and have less impact on the axial load of the rod and column.The strength and hardness of the plastic centralizer is smaller than that of the tubing,which can well reduce the wear of the tubing,and the powder is easy to be carried away by the well fluid after wear,and it is not easy to cause a stuck pump.
