(Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle,PHV for short)is simply a hybrid vehicle that can be connected to a charging power source.He has the engine,gearbox,transmission system,oil circuit,fuel tank of the traditional car,as well as the battery,motor and control circuit of the electric vehicle.And the battery capacity is relatively large,there is a charging interface.It is a new hybrid electric vehicle.Different from the hybrid power of traditional gasoline power and electric drive,the plug-in hybrid drive principle and drive unit are the same as the electric vehicle.The only difference is that the vehicle is equipped with an engine.
The difference between plug-in hybrid car and ordinary hybrid car

Ordinary hybrid vehicles have a small battery capacity,which only supplies/recovers energy during start/stop,acceleration/deceleration,cannot be externally charged,and cannot be driven in a pure electric mode for a longer distance;the battery of a plug-in hybrid vehicle is relatively compared.Large,can be externally charged,can be driven in pure electric mode,the battery is exhausted,then the hybrid mode(mainly internal combustion engine),and timely charging the battery.
