Cementing technology helps oil and gas exploration and development

Recently,the"863"project undertaken by Sinopec Petroleum Engineering and Technology Research Institute has made remarkable achievements in the research of cementing technology under complex conditions of ultra-deep wells under high temperature and high pressure.This project has developed a high-temperature resistant cement admixture suitable for ultra-deep well cementing,and successfully developed the first long-term performance testing instrument for cement stone that can simulate high temperature and high pressure conditions.A cement slurry system for preventing the corrosion of hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide was proposed.At the same time,the anti-corrosion series of special tail pipe cementing tools and cementing technology measures suitable for ultra-deep well cementing were successfully developed in the north of Sichuan,Puguang,The qualified rate of cementing in Tahe Oilfield and other blocks reached 100%.
deputy dean of the Petroleum Engineering Technology Research Institute and petroleum engineering expert,pointed out that in recent years,China's oil demand has grown rigidly,and the dependence on foreign oil has approached the warning line,while 40%of the remaining domestic oil and gas resources are in the deep,overseas cooperation zone.Block oil and gas reservoirs are also mostly in deep layers.Therefore,solving the technical problems of deep oil drilling and cementing and accelerating deep oil and gas exploration and development research has become an important measure to increase China's oil production and solve the current energy crisis.
