Centralizer is a tool used to stabilize downhole drilling tools and prevent deviation.In petroleum,natural gas and geological exploration drilling engineering,the device connected with a section of drill string near the large diameter drilling tool to stabilize the drilling direction is an important tool to prevent the deviation change.
1.Control wellbore trajectory:

The centralizer in the BHA mainly plays the role of pointing and centralizing.The centralizer placement keeps the inclination and curvature of the wellbore within specified limits and also concentrates most of the weight of the drill collars on the bit,thereby reducing non-hole force and other external forces on the drill string and bit.With the development of centralizer and the exploitation of horizontal and directional Wells,centralizer has become an indispensable bottomhole tool in modern wellbore trajectory control technology.

2.The bore hole:

Drilling together with the drill string at the bend hole or reduced diameter,the chamfering at the transition between the lower end body and the working section plays a certain role in reaming the hole.
